6 Proven Ways to Achieve a Perfect Print Result and Avoid Complaints

We all hate customer complaints, especially regarding print results. 

One essential characteristic of a perfect print result is the smooth ink laydown on the substrate. 

However, everyone in the gravure packaging industry faces issues with this now and then, don’t we?

1. Ink doesn't spread right - Correct the blade angle and adjust the solvent.

2. Ink is too thin - Add fresh ink and increase viscosity.

3. Unsuitable pigment - Consult an ink supplier.

4. Low press speed - Increase speed.

5. Too deep engraving - Consult an engraver.

6. High impression roller pressure - Reduce pressure.
