Over the past few years, sustainability has significantly grown in importance. That’s why we at 4Packaging have changed our way of thinking to protect the environment.

We have dedicated ourselves to technical process. We constantly invest in modern technology and resource saving production processes. Machines and technology that are not state-of-the-art and do not meet the requirements will be upgraded according to the latest developments. By doing so, we use 50 % less electricity compared to international standard. We are also changing our company fleet to electric cars, use solar power generated by our own solar panels and save fresh water resources by processing our waste water sustainably.

But there are many more measurements we have taken to make it easier for you AND us to protect the environment: Our Smile Studio makes it possible to develop packaging digitally. Visuals and videos in 3D to compare and decide on your designs. We also offer cellaxy lasered rotogravure cylinders. By using them you can reduce your ink consumption by up to 50 percent.

You obviouslysave resources using existing gravure cylinders. By the way: We are the only company worldwide that also recycles aluminum sleeves! The old surface is removed, and a new zinc layer is applied until the sleeve matches your required dimensions. No need to compromise on quality by saving resources!

Our produced cylinders are checked by visual control without using additional resources. It is the most modern and accurate way to control gravure cylinders. A printed proof to assure the quality is not necessary anymore, therefore less environmental pollution is caused by avoiding the use of resources and chemicals.
